About the client's company
With 10+ years of experience in fintech and payments systems and a proven ability to translate customer needs into solutions, the company's founder and CEO launched the solution in 2021. As an FCA-licensed payment service provider, the company aims to help online businesses expand globally and sell locally by offering local-currency payment solutions across regions worldwide.
Today, the company helps merchants accept payments through a single API integration and dashboard, enabling revenue growth online, on mobile devices, and at online points of sale. By doing so, the company's clients are empowered to launch into new markets and gain clients worldwide.
Choosing a white-label solution
When considering a payment service provider startup, the future founder weighed two options: building it from scratch or using a white-label solution. During the idea development stage, the company's CEO communicated extensively with his network and learned about the payment orchestration platform Corefy. Several payment providers who planned to partner with our client in future also asked whether the company plans to integrate with Corefy, as it would help them connect more quickly and easily. Realising there was demand and interest, the founder decided to conduct further research into Corefy.
To make the most informed decision, our client compared Corefy with another payment gateway. After a thorough analysis and comparison, Corefy's technical capabilities were higher, and the platform's overall capabilities met all their business needs.
Why Corefy?
Researching the capabilities of Corefy's payment orchestration platform, our future client was mainly attracted by the following:
- A set of ready-made integrations with payment providers at launch enabled our client to connect the necessary ones and stand out from competitors quickly.
- The ability to establish integrations with the necessary payment providers that are not on Corefy's list on request within a predictable time period.
- The ability to configure smart payment routing schemes to increase the efficiency of each transaction.
- More informative callbacks during each transaction processing.
- Firewall features that allow for payment fraud control.
Onboarding process
The onboarding process, from the demo to the first live transaction, took two weeks. The first steps included integrating Corefy, learning to use the platform’s features, and setting up the payment schemes.
Results the client achieved working with Corefy
Reducing the costs of development
As the client was considering developing their own payment processing solution before launch, Corefy's white-label payment provider solution enabled them to start much faster and at a lower cost.
By opting for the white-label business model, the client saved at least two years by not having to build its own development and support team. Corefy provided a ready-made solution, including a payment team-as-a-service and a dedicated account manager to oversee the client's performance and success.
Providing clients with a wide choice of payment methods
At launch in 2021, the client could integrate the required payment service providers, choosing from our list of 200+ ready-made integrations. It helped them offer clients a wider range of currencies and payment methods, including alternative options from the outset, increasing their competitiveness.
Furthermore, if the client required a payment service provider not on Corefy's list of established integrations, they requested a new integration through their account manager. By the end of 2025, approximately 20 new integrations had been established at the client's request.
Streamlining payment management
Our client's main aim was to provide payment services to merchants with minimal friction. We facilitated achieving this by a high-quality API with easy integration and an intuitive Dashboard to manage all payments and monitor key performance metrics.
Utilising our Dashboard allows the client to view all payments in a convenient grid and group them by categories such as transaction statuses, period, payment method, and more. Despite the number of payment methods, all transaction data is now stored in a single place, saving time and reducing manual work.
Reconciling transactions and analysing performance
The PSP client actively uses our Analytics to monitor their business performance and identify areas for improvement. Monthly reconciliation helps them ensure all payments were made and received and detect possible mismatches with providers' statements. By regularly tracking income and costs per transaction using Analytics and Reconciliation tools, the client can reset their configuration to improve performance and cost efficiency.
Offering a custom payment page for clients
Understanding the vital importance of the UX/UI, the client opted for our hosted payment page (HPP) and adjusted its design to their brand identity – colours, logos, and buttons. On the client's request, their custom HPP was translated into dozens of official languages, including Chinese, Azerbaijani, Arabic, Hindi, and others.
Reducing payment fraud
Our Firewall solution safeguards the client's transactions, helping them reduce fraud and avoid fines from payment networks. At various stages of transaction processing, the anti-fraud solution is triggered to analyse input data. Guided by a decision tree with specific rules and client-customised lists, the Firewall helps to decide whether each payment should be accepted or declined.
Finetuning payment processing to boost conversion rates
Within the first several months of working with Corefy and monitoring their performance in the Dashboard, the client's team gained insights into what could be improved and how. Their dedicated account manager helped to configure their payment routing schemes to increase conversion rates. Based on each new insight, they addressed their account manager to set new rules or fine-tune the existing ones.
Current performance
Over time, the client's team became more experienced with our platform's features and learned to configure it independently. It allows them to handle more tasks independently and to address their account manager only when expertise or assistance is required. For instance, Corefy's account manager can help them choose additional payment providers with high conversion to connect with.
Utilising Corefy's white-label payment provider solution allows the client's team to focus on business development, with all technical issues and maintenance handled by us. Their steady growth is evident in the figures: when the company launched, it processed about 2k transactions per month; today, it processes about 4 million.
