What is Nexpay and what do they do?

Nexpay is an Electronic Money Institution (EMI), authorised and supervised by the Bank of Lithuania. Founded in 2017 and headquartered in Vilnius, the company builds banking infrastructure for digital businesses that need an alternative to traditional bank accounts.

The core product is a business payment account built around dedicated IBANs, giving each client (or sub-account) its own identifiable account number for cleaner reconciliation. On top of this, Nexpay offers SEPA and SEPA Instant transfers for euro payments that settle within seconds, and SWIFT payments covering more than 20 currencies, including USD, GBP, JPY, AUD, and CAD, with automatic conversion into linked EUR accounts.

For integration, Nexpay provides a REST API with a sandbox environment, webhooks for real-time transaction status updates, and account management tools covering scheduled and recurring payments, plus commission charge management for platforms that need to split or track fees across their own customers.

Who is it for?

Nexpay is built for digital businesses that struggle to secure or maintain banking relationships with legacy financial institutions. That includes crypto exchanges and trading platforms, forex brokers, gambling and betting operators, dating platforms, and marketing or lead-generation businesses, alongside more conventional PSPs, neobanks and B2B, B2C and B2B2C fintechs that want programmatic, API-first access to account infrastructure rather than a manual banking relationship.

Why do businesses choose Nexpay?

  • Dedicated IBANs for each account, simplifying reconciliation and giving customers a distinct, trackable payment reference
  • SEPA Instant settlement, moving euro payments across the SEPA region within seconds rather than the standard batch cycle
  • Multi-currency SWIFT coverage, with 20+ currencies converting automatically into EUR accounts for cross-border partners and suppliers
  • API-first integration, with a sandbox, webhooks and automated payment scheduling that let platforms embed account management directly into their own workflow
  • Appetite for high-risk verticals that many traditional banks decline outright, including crypto, gambling and forex businesses

Businesses using Corefy can simply obtain a MID from Nexpay and connect it to Corefy's dashboard in a few clicks, without dealing with any integration work.

Is Nexpay trustworthy?

Nexpay operates as UAB NexPay, an EMI authorised by the Bank of Lithuania under the Law on Electronic Money and Electronic Money Institutions, placing it under the same regulatory regime as other EU-licensed payment institutions in Lithuania's fintech sector. The company has been operating since 2017 and has grown to around 30 employees.

Nexpay has also built out its compliance stack through third-party partnerships: it works with Ondato for compliance tooling and with Salt Edge for open banking-based Strong Customer Authentication (SCA), covering authentication requirements for its digital asset and payments clients.
