We're incredibly proud to announce that Corefy was officially accepted to Google's community of gateways and payment processors supporting the Google Pay API. Having directly integrated Google Pay, a solution that accounts for 31% of all mobile payments, we're now featured in Google Pay's list of participating processors.
Our journey towards this achievement started half a year before. At first, we filled out the Interest Form on Google Pay's website. The applications come from around the world, so it takes Google a lot of time and effort to review them and form a queue using its algorithm. We received the confirmation letter five months after completing the Form. Then we got the Documentation and technical requirements for the integration and started the process on our side. We worked closely with a dedicated Manager from Google to ensure alignment with all the requirements, especially regarding PSD2 and Google's security standards. We also added a page explaining how our clients can use this new integration to our Documentation. In turn, Google added Corefy to their website's list of participating processors.
Though it may seem simple, it is pretty labour-intensive and time-consuming. Fifteen people in our team were involved in the Google Pay integration, and the work continues on our side. Once it's finished, our clients can benefit from the opportunity to implement this in-demand payment method quickly and securely process Google Pay transactions through Corefy.
