Note

OFT lists this provider under "PowerTranz" - First Atlantic Commerce's own gateway/platform product name. This doc keeps "First Atlantic Commerce" primary since that's the company and website merchants recognize.

What you need to do for start processing transactions (brief summary)

  1. Get your credentials (from First Atlantic Commerce)
  2. Connect in Dashboard
  3. Send an API request

Prerequisites: get from First Atlantic Commerce

Apply at First Atlantic Commerce or contact your account manager to get your account verified and receive the following credentials. You'll first receive test credentials; only after testing and verification will you get go-live credentials, which require reconnecting your account in the Corefy Dashboard.

  • Merchant ID -> Corefy field merchant_id.
  • Password -> Corefy field password.

Important

Be sure to check with the manager if you require to provide a white list of IPs, and if so, specify IP addresses from the Corefy list.

Payments processing (connect H2H Merchant account, create payment-invoice)

Connect H2H Merchant account in Corefy Dashboard

Step 1 - Open connection form

Open First Atlantic Commerce in the provider directory and press Connect at First Atlantic Commerce Provider Overview page in the New connection section.

Step 2 - Fill in fields and select settings

  • Merchant ID
  • Password
  • Currency / Features -> choose values available for your account (USD, TTD)
  • Test Mode -> (enable if you are using sandbox credentials)

First request to Corefy API (MIN)

What it does: creates a payment-invoice; card data itself is collected and submitted separately by Corefy's checkout/SDK layer, not as part of this request. First Atlantic Commerce may return a 3D Secure challenge redirect depending on the card; customer is not used by this connector at all.

Payment - MAX

There is no MAX variant - customer is not used anywhere in this connector's requests, and no Options or Constants are configured.

Refunds

First Atlantic Commerce supports refunds for the full amount only (no partial or multiple refunds).

Additional info

  1. Active reconciliation is available - an active status request can be used in addition to the asynchronous callback.
  2. No recurring - this connector does not support saving/charging a token through Corefy.

FAQ / Troubleshooting

  • Invalid credentials / auth error -> verify the Merchant ID and password for the selected environment (test_mode) - remember test and go-live credentials are separate and require reconnecting the account
  • Currency or service is not supported -> confirm allowed currencies/features in your First Atlantic Commerce account and in Corefy - only USD and TTD are available
  • Refund fails with multiple attempts -> only one, full-amount refund per payment is allowed
