- If you do H2H card payments -> choose H2H Merchant account
If you are not sure which one to use, confirm with your Corefy account manager.
Prerequisites: get from ConnPay New
Get the following values for your ConnPay New project/account:
- Token -> Corefy field
token-> example:7b9f1c0a4d2e8f63b5a7c9d1e3f5a7b9-> your API key, sent to ConnPay New as aBearerauthorization token on every request -> where to find: ConnPay New backoffice / issued by ConnPay New manager - ID requestor -> Corefy field
requestor_id-> example:12345-> identifier of the terminal/requestor the payment is created for; it is appended to every API endpoint path -> where to find: ConnPay New backoffice / issued by ConnPay New manager - API url -> Corefy field
api_url-> example:https://live.connpay.com/-> base URL of the ConnPay New production API; used for live traffic only (in test mode Corefy calls ConnPay New's test environment instead) -> where to find: ConnPay New backoffice / issued by ConnPay New manager
Payments processing (connect H2H Merchant account, create payment-invoice)
Connect H2H Merchant account in Corefy Dashboard
Step 1 - Open connection form
Open ConnPay New in the provider directory and press Connect at ConnPay New Provider Overview page in the New connection section. Choose H2H Merchant account.
Step 2 - Fill in fields and select settings
- Token ->
token - ID requestor ->
requestor_id - API url ->
api_url - Test mode -> (enable if you are using sandbox credentials - requests are then sent to ConnPay New's test environment and the API url value is not used)
- Choose Currency and Features. You can set these parameters according to available currencies and features for your ConnPay New account, but it is necessary to check details of the connection with your Corefy account manager.
Success
You have connected ConnPay New H2H Merchant account!
First request to Corefy API (MIN)
What it does: creates a payment-invoice.
Corefy does not enforce any payer fields for this connector - a request without a customer block is accepted and forwarded. ConnPay New itself expects full payer details (name, email, phone, date of birth, billing address) for a real transaction, so send them per request as shown in MAX, or configure them once as Constants (see below).

customer.metadata.website_url is sent to ConnPay New as the payment's source site. If it is not provided, Corefy falls back to the merchant profile's own website URL.
Extended request (MAX)
Why add extra fields (typical reasons): - Provide additional customer details for compliance/reconciliation - Positively influence conversion rate - Include optional fields required by your specific flow
Options
Options are configured on the Corefy side and affect how Corefy builds provider requests or processes responses.
Currently available options (4)
ignore_callback- skip processing of ConnPay New callbacks for this accountextended_threeds_data_waiting_time- wait longer for the redirect/3DS data before giving uppending_refunds_on_invalid_response- report a refund as pending instead of error when the provider's response cannot be parsedprioritize_cardholder- take the payer's first/last name from the cardholder data instead of thecustomerobject
ignore_callback
What it does: Corefy stops processing incoming ConnPay New callbacks for this merchant account; the final transaction status is then taken from reconciliation (status requests) instead. When to use: when you do not want webhook-driven status updates and prefer status to be resolved by reconciliation only. Default: "false" Allowed values: true / false
extended_threeds_data_waiting_time
What it does: after the payment is created, Corefy polls the ConnPay New Status API every 5 seconds until the redirect URL appears or the payment reaches a final state. Disabled, it makes up to 12 attempts (about 1 minute); enabled, up to 60 attempts (about 5 minutes). When to use: when ConnPay New needs more time to return the redirect/3DS data and payments otherwise end without a redirect URL. Default: "false" Allowed values: true / false
pending_refunds_on_invalid_response
What it does: changes how a refund is reported when the provider's refund/status response cannot be interpreted. Disabled, the refund gets the ERROR status with the PROVIDER_ERROR code. Enabled, the refund gets the PENDING status with the OK code, so it stays open and is re-checked later. When to use: when you prefer unclear refund responses to stay pending for a retry rather than fail immediately. Default: "false" Allowed values: true / false
prioritize_cardholder
What it does: changes the priority of the source for the payer's first and last name sent to ConnPay New (these also form the cardPrintedName value). Disabled: customer -> cardholder -> constants. Enabled: cardholder -> customer -> constants. When to use: when the name printed on the card is more reliable for your flow than the name supplied in the customer object. Default: "false" Allowed values: true / false
Constants (fallback fields)
Constants are static values that Corefy can send to the provider instead of dynamic data from your API request, when those fields are missing in the request.
Priority (predictable rule): 1. If a value is present in the request -> Corefy uses the request value 2. Else if the constant is set -> Corefy uses the constant 3. Else -> provider may reject the request or apply its defaults (depends on provider)
Currently available constants (constant -> Corefy API field)
FIRST_NAME->customer.nameLAST_NAME->customer.nameEMAIL->customer.emailPHONE->customer.phoneDATE_OF_BIRTH->customer.date_of_birthCOUNTRY->customer.address.countryREGION->customer.address.regionPOST_CODE->customer.address.post_codeCITY->customer.address.cityADDRESS_LINE_1->customer.address.full_addressADDRESS_LINE_2->customer.address.full_address
FIRST_NAME and LAST_NAME both back customer.name - Corefy splits that single value into first and last name, so each half has its own constant.
Additional info
-
Payment flow: Corefy creates the payment at ConnPay New, receives a redirect URL in the response, and redirects the payer to the ConnPay New payment page. The final status arrives by webhook; Corefy also polls the ConnPay New Status API while waiting for the redirect data.
-
Callbacks are enabled for this connector and nothing has to be configured on the ConnPay New side: Corefy generates a webhook URL per transaction and sends it inside the payment request. Each callback is verified by an HMAC-SHA256 signature (base64 of the raw body, keyed with your
token) passed in thex-hmac-sha256-signatureheader - a callback without a valid signature is rejected. -
Refunds: partial refunds are supported, multiple refunds of the same payment are not. A refund can only be sent for a payment that already has a provider transaction identifier.
FAQ / Troubleshooting
- Invalid credentials / auth error (
Access token not found) -> verify that thetokenandID requestorbelong to the same environment as the Test mode switch (sandbox credentials with Test mode off, or production credentials with Test mode on, will fail) - Currency or service is not supported -> confirm allowed currencies/features in your ConnPay New account and in Corefy
- Payment ends without a redirect URL -> enable
extended_threeds_data_waiting_timeso Corefy waits longer for ConnPay New to return it - Missing required fields -> provide missing request fields or configure constants/options
- Not sure which account type to use? -> ask your Corefy account manager
