First request to Corefy API (MIN)
What it does: creates a payment-invoice.
Payment - MIN
POST /api/payment-invoices
{
"data": {
"type": "payment-invoice",
"attributes": {
"reference_id": "3b8f1c2e-7d4a-4e9b-a1c6-5f2d8e0b9a47",
"service": "kaspi_bank_kzt_invoice",
"currency": "KZT",
"amount": 100
}
}
}
Payment - MAX
POST /api/payment-invoices
{
"data": {
"type": "payment-invoice",
"attributes": {
"reference_id": "9e2a6d41-0c7b-4f3e-8b5a-d1c4f7e2a093",
"service": "kaspi_bank_kzt_invoice",
"currency": "KZT",
"amount": 100,
"customer": {
"reference_id": "cus_5a1e9c3b",
"name": "John Smith"
}
}
}
}
In MAX, customer.reference_id is sent to Cobranto as the payer's ID in your system (if it is missing, Corefy uses the payment ID instead), and customer.name is sent as the payer's first and last name.
Extended request (MAX)
Why add extra fields (typical reasons):
- Provide additional customer details for compliance/reconciliation
- Positively influence conversion rate
- Include optional fields required by your specific flow
Additional info
-
Callback routing is handled automatically: Corefy sends the callback URL to Cobranto with every payment, so you don't need to set it up in the Cobranto backoffice. Callbacks are verified with your Secret key.
-
Payments are processed as P2P transfers. After the payment is created, Cobranto returns payment details (a card number with the recipient name and bank, or a phone number with the bank), which are shown to the customer. The customer makes the transfer and confirms the payment. The final status comes from Cobranto callbacks or status checks.
FAQ / Troubleshooting
- Invalid credentials / auth error -> verify the Merchant ID and Secret key, and that API URL (if set) points to the correct Cobranto environment
- Currency or service is not supported -> confirm allowed currencies/features in your Cobranto account and in Corefy
- Payment fails right after creation -> Cobranto did not return payment details for this payment (amount/currency not available at the moment); try again later or check with your Cobranto manager
- Not sure which account type to use? -> ask your Corefy account manager
